Advanced 3D Echocardiography Workshop

Echocardiography is an inseparable and relevant part of interventional cardiology, permeating all stages of patient care. Not only in the catheterization lab guiding the procedure but also in the anatomo-functional diagnosis of the pathology to be treated, enabling better strategic planning. A good dynamic between the interventionist and the echocardiographer is of utmost importance for optimizing results. Valve in Rio proposes to bring the echocardiographer into this discussion, integrating them more and more into the universe of interventional cardiology.

The Advanced Workshop on 3D ECHO for structural diseases is an exclusive event that brings together global and national references in this field, addressing anatomical and pathophysiological aspects of structural lesions as well as their monitoring in the catheterization lab.

The program includes both theoretical and practical content at workstations where everyone will have the opportunity to experience and improve their skills in post-processing techniques of images from selected cases with the assistance of tutors renowned in this field.

During the workshop, we will delve into the additional advantages that 3D ECHO provides for real-time diagnosis, planning, and monitoring in the catheterization lab for various pathologies amenable to percutaneous intervention.

It will be 2 days immersed in the universe of interventional cardiology, a specialty that is growing and developing year by year.
